I'm Here

Well, I'm here and it's a little overwhelming. My roomates aren't here right now so I have no one to talk to. My computer username isn't set up yet, so I have to wait for that to have anytime access to the computers. Right now I am on a guest account and my normal account will be here Thursday or Friday. At the moment, I am still organizing things, I have my closet organized pretty well, and there is a space for almost everything. I found out that for classes I have a "hike" as my RA liked to call it...I have one class in Wells, then I have to go up about 4 outdoor flights of steps up to the administration building for a class, then I have to go back down to Wells, then I have to go right back up to the administration building. But oh well, I have an hour break between the second and third classes, I think.

I have a TON of pictures from the Grotto of the Redemption. I'm not spiritual or religious, but I loved it. It was just so beautiful.

Also, I am going to be taking pictures of my apartment and stuff. It's a rather roomy apartment, and really homey. Any calls will be greatly appreciated. Letters will also be welcome. If you don't have the number, call my mom or Cindy, so that they can give it to you. Well, I have to check the other blog sites, and I will be back probably Thursday or Friday.

One more thing. I have the tower for my computer in my room now...Waneta helped me get it out of Eric's room per his request. Once he gets back from break he will put the OS on, and get me set up for the internet in my living room. Well, I'm off...

This makes this whole college thing seem final. All my shit is out in the kitchen. My room looks so empty. And I now realize just how much crap I actually have. I am leaving on Sunday at 6:30 AM. There is going to be a pool party, BBQ, The Price is Right Game, and a hypnotist on September 6th. I think it's the 6th...maybe it's the 5th....oh well. It sounds so fun.

Right now my biggest problem is getting all my crap in Freda's car. I just can't let anything go. But I have to, and I am. I know that when I get up there, I will have bigger problems, but I am going to take them one at a time.

I got a shirt from Denise that has "Home Sweet Home, Kansas" on the front, and it pretty much has a roadmap on it of Kansas, and parts of Nebraska, Oklahoma(I think) Colorado(I think) and Iowa. I looked at Denise when she gave it to me, and laughed and said: "If anyone maps out any routes on my back, I'm gonna beat you..." I think she had a good point when she said that she didn't think I had to worry about people doing that to the back of my shirt...lol. I think that the saying kinda fits me, because when we moved to Axtell, every time we got to the turnoff from 36 highway, I would say "Hooome Sweet Hooome!"

I don't remember much from my younger years, but I do remember doing that and some other things, like having wars in the living room with Denise...throwing stuffed animals and soft balls and other stuff...Beating the living crap out of each other and mom telling us: Knock each other out that way maybe I'll get a few hours of quiet...Denise and I playing hooky from school the same day and playing board games allll day...that was soo much fun. I'm pretty sure that mom knew that we weren't sick...

I also remember staying the night at Holly's house whenever I could. We would play school, and do our homework, and play tons of games and make up secret codes (some of which I can still remember), and we would lay on her bed and throw stuffed animals into the ceiling fan...one doll got stuck in the insulation that was showing on her wall...we ended up breaking the ceiling fan...aaahhh fun times...lol...I'm getting nostalgic and I'm only 18...

2 more Days...

That's right. Two more days until I'm outta here. I found out something great tho. I am not going to have to wait for my yearbook. YAY. I have been waiting for that sucker since the beginning of the last school year. Mom and I are going to pick it up today after SHE gets home from school. Oh well, just two more hours. :D:D

Ain't

People say that Ain't isn't a word. Well, I think it is. Ain't is a contraction of the two words Am Not. Won't is a contraction of the two words Will Not. It would be hard to say willn't, just as it would be hard to say Amn't.

20 friggin cents..

That's right. Someone who will not be named asked my mom to "borrow" 20 cents, hoping that my mom wouldn't have the two dimes and just give her the dollar. Well, she never said anything about the dollar until I went into the store for some items. Because right before this, my mom asked me to get two dimes at least in change. Do you know how embarrassing it is to look at the store clerk (who is the grandmother of one of my classmates) and say: "can you give me two dimes and a nickel instead of a quarter?" When I got outside, the big money was given. It was right before I got out that she "suggested" that my mom just loan her a dollar. This person gets twice as much household income as me and my mother, and she's just going to spend it on cigarettes. People like this (especially this one) chap my friggin hide. 20 cents....it still amazes me that she asked for 20 cents...jeez.

Oh yeah...3 more days till I leave for AIB.

52. I had 1045 Accelerated Reader points over the span of 4 years of high school, but I never read AR books outside of school.
53. I didn't get a damn thing for putting so much work into my Accelerated Reading, but I'm ok with that...I set a goal at the beginning of my freshman year, and I accomplished it.

Danielle the Feef

Commenting on my own blog has brought back some funny memories. We were at Freddie's Pizza Place, "we" being Danielle, Kayla, Chase and I, and some adults, I don't remember which ones... But anyways, as we were all walking out, Danielle grabbed a package of the free crackers at the register. Us kids didn't know that they were free, so Kayla, Chase and I told the adults that Danielle stole some crackers from Freddie's. We told her that when she stole stuff, it made her a thief. Well, Danielle was like, 5 or around that age. She didn't like it when we said she was a thief, so she went up to her mom and said: "Mommy, I don't wanna be a feef!" Just remembering her saying that she wasn't a "feef" is just hilarious, and in fact, Danielle and I were talking about that on Saturday night. Ahh the funny times...

Today

Today my cat, Nose came in looking very proud of herself, and came into the room right before the bathroom and was just howling and howling. She just wanted me to come see what she had done. I came out of my room to see the little twerp had a baby bird. It was already dead. My mom had a good point when she said: "How can you be so proud of yourself when it was only a baby??" Yes, we talk to our cats. Oh well. 4 more days....

Well, I did it again. I got my hair cut. Cindy had a style she liked, and I had a style that I liked, I decided on the one I chose, but Cindy was right, I would have looked better with short, wispy bangs. If only we had mixed the two styles together, it would have looked awesome! But alas, we thought of that after we stepped out of Kay's Cut and Kurl...oh well, I'm satisfied with what I have. I will take a picture sometime and post it.

I know I have been promising pictures and not posting them, but I am sorting out pictures on the computer at home. I have this obsession that every person in my family has to have a folder in my My Pictures folder, that way I can place all the pictures that have a certain family member in its folder, that way when I want to put a certain picture on my blog, or show it to a friend, I don't have to search through every picture I have to find the one I want. This is also so it's easier to put the pictures on a CD (or several CD's) and I can label which family member is on which CD.

Last night I stayed at Cindy's house. Danielle and I stayed up until 7:00 AM eating snow cones, playing with the animals and just talking. I scanned a ton of pictures, which I want to share some with everyone, but just thinking of photobucket is making me not want to post pictures. 7 more days until I am off to Des Moines.

Today

Today Denise and her horde came over, including Deanna and her horde...it was hectic. I got a video of Elishia "hula hooping" it is hilarious. If I can find a way to post it or a link to it, I will. I also have some pictures of when he came over a couple days ago...it was cute, he played with the kitties, and told me that the orange and white long haired one was his...cute. Pictures and maybe video later.

Woohoo

I'm getting another haircut! lol, for those of you who have no idea why I'm excited...I used to NEVER get haircuts. I was letting my hair grow out. Well, this last haircut, I got 5 1/2 inches cut off. Not going to be that much this time but hey, it will be a change, but then again, I won't have Cindy sitting next to me, telling them how she wants my hair. I told her that I would get my hair cut AND I would let her choose how short it was and the style. I am an indecisive person, so I never know what I want lol. I think it will be fun :D

Happy Birthday Mike

Yeah, it's Mike's birthday today. I don't feel bad about him not knowing when my birthday is, because he doesn't remember anybodys, except for Orianna's, and he had to get it tattooed to his arm for him to remember that one. I can just remember birthdays well. I know most of the people in my graduating class's birthdays, and all my neices and nephews except Kurtis and Jesse. I think Kurtis' birthday is in October, and I know that Jesse's birthday is between the 1st and the 9th of December, only because Denise and I were talking about how since I have to share my birthday with christmas, it would kinda be the shits if I had to share it with Jesse too...and how it would be kinda cool at the same time, and how it would be nice if he was born on Billy's birthday, which is December 9th. (I think lol)

Computer problems

Well, I don't know why, but this computer was on a loop. It would show the Emachines logo, and then it would show the BIOS, then it would give me the error that windows was shut down improperly, and then it would tell me to run a disk check, and then it would show the Emachines logo, and so on, and so forth. So frusturating this is!

What with all the stories of sheep that I hear from Cindy, it just seems odd that I decide to look at people's Zodiac Years..and I see this:

Wednesday, August 10th

19 days and counting! Mike is here, and so is Pearl. She doesn't care much for me or mom at first, but then when she gets used to us, she still doesn't care much for mom, but she loves me for some strange reason.

Danielle's blog looks so cool. And I'm not saying it because I helped her do it. It's just that Danielle is one of the only people who would put pink, green and purple together. I like those colors together, myself, although her header is a little blinding at first glance. I just like it. . When I was changing Danielle's colors, I kept calling her back, asking specific questions. Like for the text, she wanted Hot Pink. Well, there are 4 different shades of Hot Pink. In the end she decided on like, Fuschia 1. While I asked Danielle which colors she wanted, Cindy just looked at me and said: "How do you know all this??". I just read a lot. I read articles online, and while I was looking thru the template, I saw stuff like this:

color: #CD00CD; <---this lets you change the color. just change the number with a number that you know stands for a different color. And the # is necessary. If it says color, that means that it changes a color somewhere. I found that it's wise not to save the changes made to the template until you know what you have changed.

font-weight: bold; <---This is the thickness of the letters in the link. There is bold, italic, bold italic, and regular.

color: #800080; <---This is for the color of the links when you just hold your mouse/cursor over them.

Now you know part of what goes through my mind when I look at things. Most of the Blogger template can be changed with ease if you just look at it logically. Did you know that there are 15.7 million colors in a normal Hexadecimal Color Chart? For those of you who know a little something about HTML, here's a great chart that has a ton of colors, and is very easy to use. For those of you who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, check it out anyways. Each color is represented with a 6 letter/number combination. For example: #FF00FF is Fuschia. White is either #FFFFFF or #000000. So yeah, you learn something new every day, and you get the picture. Here is the link.

Stress relief

Does anyone know of a stress reliever that doesn't involve sex drugs or alcohol? Don't look at me like that...I'm not as innocent as one might believe. I'm having guy/money problems that make college seem like nothing. So, yeah any advice would be great. Just...have had a bad day, and I don't know who reads my blogs, and it would start an uproar, which it probably might just being as vague as I am. I'm to the point where I don't care what happens to him. If I could take him to court...i would. If I could put him in jail(this is a very far fetched one) i would. This is how upset and stressed and angry and exhausted I am with him.

And if YOU are reading this (you know who you are, and if you dont know what im talking about, then you arent who im talking about...) YOU CAN GO TO HELL! I'm sick of listening to all your problems, and hearing about your "friends" and you expect me to be your free therapist or you wont give me what i paid for...well FUCK YOU! That is long overdue and I am not a free therapist to anyone who wont at least give me the benefit of listening to my problems.

A Formal Confession

Sorry to all the people whom we prank called, but it was sooo funny. Ok. Danielle was showing me this Napoleon Dynamite Soundboard. For those who we didn't prank call, a sound board is a webpage with a bunch of phrases that a celebrity or cartoon character has said, and you can play back. Most of these are used for prank calls originally, but Danielle had to the idea to prank call my mom.

So, forgetting that Maxine and Dean were there, we called my mom, me working the soundboard, and Danielle listening to what my mom said. Well, I guess she got Aunt Maxine first, because my mom told Danielle that we scared the crap out of Maxine. So next we call my sister, Denise. We only got her phones voice mail, so we left a message which was about 2 or 3 minutes long on Denise's phone. She thought it was funny. So next we called Annette. That was funny because Cindy called afterwards to tell Annette what was going on.

After we called Annette, and Annette gave Cindy the phone numbers to give to us, we called Cindy's Aunt Vicky. We have no idea how she reacted, because Danielle was laughing and trying to be quiet. After that...we called Tisha, but we got Dewey. When I just now asked Danielle what he said on the phone she said: "He said 'hi' and then there was an awkward silence.." I'm guessing that happened because I didn't notice the signal Danielle was giving me to show that he answered, and I hadn't pushed any buttons yet.

We called Denise again, and used the Simpsons soundboard on her, which she enjoyed.

All in all, it was a fun time that I'll never forget, because I have never prank called anyone before, and Cindy and Danielle made it even more hilarious.

The Reunion

Today, there weren't a lot of people there, but we still had fun. The sand was too hot to play volleyball in, so Danielle and I went to the pool. We had fun playing catch with Chase, and we only stayed in for about an hour. During lunch, Victoria, after losing a bunch of games of "I Win", asked her mom if she could have some more "crackeroni". We all laughed, and she told us that she was just trying to say crackers and pepperoni.

Danielle really cracks me up though. Uncle Bill asked me: "Would you get me one of those Jell-O things over there?" and what was Danielle's reply? "There are a lot of yellow things over there, sir." It just kinda caught me off guard, and I said: "Danielle...he said Jell-O."

For some reason, all my links and my profile picture are at the very bottom of the page...maybe I shouldn't mess with the tepmplates HTML on here...but I just wanted my colors to be different!

I have done it. There is more color to my blog. 3 of my four favorite colors...Black being my most favorite, is boring on blogs...in my opinion. That is, unless you could spice it up, which I know is possible. But the other 3 colors, if you couldn't guess already are Purple, pink, and blue. Well, at least now you can distinguish my blog from Cindy's blog :P

Well, mom's gonna be pissed if I'm cranky in the morning for the reunion, so now that I'm tired, I will go upstairs and continue my quest on reading all of the Harry Potter books yet again...Book 3, here I come! I'm so out...lol....

Ok, now I'M starting to get tired of how my blog hasn't changed...only because I haven't been doing anything...Although I am mowing the lawn Friday...yuck...I hate mowing. What I don't particularly care for is the fact that we have so much shit in the lawn that you can't just mow in a squarish pattern. We have 6 trees, a garage, a cement slab thingy, and a light pole in the way. And I hate mowing under the trees that have branches low to the ground. I get freaked about stuff like ticks and any bug in general. I'm just not an outdoor person. Also, I remembered that I still have prom and graduation pictures to do something with. But I know that mom wants some of them, and Cindy wants some copies...well, I can't exactly do copies without: Money for the scanner at wal-mart, or a scanner. I tried taking a picture of a picture...not the brightest thing to do when my hands shake when I'm taking a picture. Ok, just realized that I could prop up the picture and put the camera on the desk and take the picture...still blurry tho...oh well, it works for me. So now I am going to be posting pictures now. Only I'm going to put them underneath this blog.
