Well, I finally am in some sort of mood to blog. Not too terribly much has been happening. At work, my manager gave me some extra duties if I said yes, which I did. I still do my job the same, as an agent, on the phones answering customers, but I am going to be roaming whenever they need extra roamers*.
*Roamer: a person who walks around the building answering questions that agents have and sometimes take calls when a customer asks for a supervisor or manager.It's not really that hard, and I guess that must mean that I know what I'm doing on the phones otherwise she wouldn't have asked me to do it. I roamed for a little while on Friday, and it was a lot of fun.
Nick came to visit again for about a week. He has some stuff to take care of back in Garden City before he moves up here. He got sick AGAIN. He always gets sick when he comes up here, hopefully it's just something to do with the basement. I got sick from him, and now I feel like crap. Speaking of the basement, we are going to be moving upstairs at the end of July. Mandy Burger, who I went to high school with, and Sanmitra Barman, a friend of a friend who comes from Calcutta, India, are going to live with us. the rent is going to be a little bit more expensive than right now, but it is alright because the upstairs is in a lot better condition than the basement is. Plus we will have a dishwasher and control of the thermostat, and a lot more space. I am going to see about getting that couch from Denise after the beginning of August.
