Saw 2 Continued

Alright. First of all, the movie ticket was 8.25.....a SMALL pop was 3.25!! I couldn't believe it. But yeah, the movie was good, one I'd see again. My RAM got back, but the computer is STILL restarting. Eric is being a real ass, but what can I do about it? He thinks it's the power source, which would be only around30-40$ to replace, but if he's not talking to me, how can I replace it? Before he started being an ass, he told me that if it is the power supply, that I shouldn't use the computer because there is a chance that one time, it could damage something else.

Right now, I'm having fun with my roommates and everything, but I wish that I could just go back to the times where Denise and I were both going to school.

Things I remember that I wish I could be doing right now:
1. The night that we stayed up all night till 7AM playing board games, so mom let us skip school that day...and we continued playing board games.
2. Playing catch in the living room with koosh balls and little stuffed animals.
3. Taking trips to Lincoln right after school to see Cindy.
4. Staying all weekend at Kayla and Chase's house, especially when Danielle was there.
5. Staying at Holly's house overnight and playing school, board games, and other things.
6.Staying the night at Holly and Cass's house last year lol.
7. Playing with Gizmo and Peachy and Angel.
8. Nose and Astro sleeping on my bed at night.
9. Astro getting jealous because my hands were under my pillows instead of petting her while I slept.
10. Checking on the kittens everyday.
11. Cindy's christmas presents every year because they were either a total surprise, or she got me exactly what I wanted.
12. Eating at Valentino's with Cindy, Denise, Mom, Danielle, Elishia, Jesse and Victoria. Also when Holly and I and sometimes Cass went.
13. Going to Bingo with Mom, Dad and Denise.
14. Denise and I pissing off Dad at bingo by being just plain obnoxious.
15. Winning 200$ at bingo when I went with Dad
16. Almost winning 1199$ at White Cloud casino bingo with Dad and Denise.
17. Going to bingo with Holly and Denise.

There's a lot more but I don't feel like posting them.

Saw 2

It was an awesome movie...I was a little disappointed with the ending but the movie was more gruesome than scary. Well, I'm going to play Phase 10 now, be back later

My Hair

Alright. Now for the details. Yesterday I splurged because I saved so much money on food shopping at an Aldi's instead of a Wal-Mart. I bought a 11 dollar box of Fuschia hair dye. I wanted Tosha to give me layered highlights. She started with the top layer first, and then put that hair up, which messed that plan up. She was worried that I would hate it, but I kept telling her that if my hair had fuschia in it, I would love it. So, when I showered and dried, I saw my hair, and ran out into the living room and screamed. Tosha saw it and screamed. Ashley screamed because we were screaming. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HAIR! :D It is very Fuschia at the parting of my hair, and then it gets gradually darker, and is fuschia all over. I would say pink or purple, but it's in the middle of the two colors. The underneath of my hair in back is fuschia too. I went to a little kids' halloween party to see Tosha's nephew, and then we handed out candy while those kids went trick or treating through Fenton hall. I saw so many cute costumes, but I have 3 favorites: a baby in a tootsie roll costume, a boy in an old man costume(hat, beard, mask, cane and all) and a CHICKEN!! That chicken suit was so cute...on a kid about as old as Jesse. (a thought occured to me...Denise, are you going to call Jesse "Baby Jess" until he's 30? that would be hilarious on his high school graduation...."I'm so proud of you Baby Jess!" lol...) anyways... I saw my economics teacher while his kid was trick or treating, and the IMA sponser too. I had a lot of fun yesterday doing so many trivial things. At work, I got a bag with candy, glittery magnets, and a note thanking me for being such a good worker. I will be up in moods all week now...

Oh yeah, once my RAM gets back, I will be able to post the pics I took. Tosha curled my hair, and it was parted like Denise's.

At Work

I'm at work at the moment, still in training...hardly anyone comes in on Sunday, so it's a little boring. I can get homework done while I'm here, as long as everything else I need to do is finished, like putting away tapes and stuff like that. As a matter of fact, I finished my paper for Microeconomics, I think I'm gettting a C in that class. I have an hour and 15 minutes left before I get to go. I will get 3 hours in today, and next month, I will have 10 one week, 10 the next week, 9.5 the week after that, on break the next week, and 10 the week after that. I think.

Eric hit a deer. IN DOWNTOWN. I just don't know how that's possible. His passenger side door won't open all the way. He didn't know this, and when he took me to Dahl's to get something, and I told him that my door wouldn't open all the way, he thought I meant that we were parked too close to another car.

Not much else to write about, I'm having the usual homesick problems, but hearing from Denise so much helps with that, and mom has called me several times this weekend. It helps so much, even though there isn't much to talk about. Well, I am going to play some games or read or something for the next hour and 10 minutes....cya.

Well, I haven't been doing too much...haven't gotten many calls from people other than Denise. Denise calls about every day, sometimes just every other day.

I am making Mac and Cheese right now. Yeah, that's about it too. I got up at 4pm today...I guess I was just tired. Went out to eat last night...got all "hookered up" for a party, but there was no party. Hookered up, for me and Angela, would mean putting on makeup that we wouldn't normally wear. I had glitter EVERYWHERE on my face.

I have been working a little all week. Since I'm still in training, and will be until after the 28th of October, I haven't been working full shifts. It will be a small paycheck, but that's ok. It's money. The work is different from what I did in Axtell, because there are Court Reporting tapes to check out, and we do that on this ancient computer...it doesn't even recognize the year 2000. We have to set the year as 1925. There isn't much more to tell about it.. So I will go and play games or watch TV for a little while...Maybe Forensic Files...it's on now

Screw Titles!

I can't think of any good titles anymore. I got my debit card yesterday in the mail, and it is activated now. I am not going to go overboard with the debit card, because I can't keep track of it as well as I can checks. I am tempted to buy a halloween costume, but I could use a few skirts for special occasions, since the only skirt I have is black and down to my ankles. It makes me feel Amish. So I'm thinking shorter (not too short) and brighter.

I also got my package from Annette in the mail. I love the pumpkins and bats drawn all over the top! I was more excited to get this package than the last one. I think it is because the package was smaller. "Good things come in small packages" It had a jack-o-lantern candleholder, fake glittery leaves, pine cones, and little dried flowers inside it (which all go on the shelf between the sink and the hallway) and black socks with cat faces on the sides, which I'm wearing now. Of course, it had shitloads of candy. I haven't eaten it all yet.

Eric and I went garage-saling yesterday. I pointed out a sign, and I didn't think he'd actually be up for it, but he was. We went to three, but all were old signs. I forgot to tell him that "garage sale season" was kinda over, and you won't find many on a Monday if there are any. We had fun tho, driving around Des Moines and West Des Moines. And we went back and took down the old garage sale signs with the people's permission. That wasn't a very good idea, considering one of them was by a street light. Des Moines drivers are very...bad.

Guess what?

I bought a pumpkin! Why, you may ask, is that something important? Well, my friends, let me tell you why it is so important. The significance of the pumpkin is that I can afford a pumpkin. And why can I afford a pumpkin? Because I have a job! I have a job as a librarian assistant, for 7$ an hour! I start training tomorrow, and yes, I get paid while in training too!

On another note, I went to a state chapter meeting for NAMA with a girl named Jenny, and we thought that we were supposed to follow a group of people. We were at a pumpkin patch farm. So we followed them onto a tractor ride. Big wagons being pulled by a tractor. We figured out by the time the guy stopped to let people pick their own pumpkins that we weren't supposed to be there. I picked out a pumpkin, and we rode back with the group, and got back to the greenhouse in time for the real meeting. It was quite an adventure. When we asked the guy who owns the farm where the NAMA people were supposed to go, he got very very very grumpy...Kinda like the lady at the fresh produce thingy...the sign said that they have melons when we asked if she had cantelope...she yelled: WE DON'T HAVE MELONS! Ooook...the sign was wrong. so yeah, that's my exciting day other than the fact that I got called for an interview yesterday, had the interview today, and got a call saying I got the job at 2:00PM today. I hope all your days were as good as mine was! :)

There's Nothing New Really

I got a checking account yesterday. I know that I will get a lecture from everybody but mom, considering I just talked to her a few minutes ago... It just seems that sometimes you people think that I'm someone else. It may be my first one, but because of Cindy and Denise both having a checking account and talking about it, I know how to do it. (anyways, the checking was cheaper than the savings account, and since I don't have a car, I don't want to have to go to the bank every time I need money.) I don't know why, but I love to balance checkbooks. "You won't think that when it's YOUR checkbook" that's what everyone is thinking at this moment. I will just have to deal with that. I am majoring in Accounting, people.

I bought 41 dollars worth of groceries yesterday, and some fish. An orange fish named Ned, and a blue fish that is nameless at the moment. I am accepting fish names at the moment, so if you have an interesting one that will catch on quick, then tell me. I will not take any names off of the movie "Finding Nemo". That is overdone. They are little fish, tropical, and they are less than an inch big, but they will grow.

Haven't been on in a while

Yeah, my internet is still down, but it's a problem with the computer. It is still going well with my roommates and all, we have a lot of fun when we are all together.

What has been happening:

1.) Two of my roommates went into their friend's rooms, hid an object in each room, and left a ransom note. One was a monkey, and the ransom note said to leave $$ in the computer lab or they would "beat their monkey". The other was a squirrell, and the ransom note was the same, only it said "steal the squirrells nuts". The people freaked, called the front desk, and a security guard came to our apartment. Good thing I wasn't there.

2.) Mark (one of the people who's squirrel was hidden) and Brian, put our chair and couch out on the balcony. Room inspections were that night, so when the Resident Advisor walked by, and saw them, we got Mark to help us put the couch and chair back.

3.) We watched The Amityville Horror tonight. I am scared out of my freakin wits. I actually screamed a couple times.

And that's all that really happened. If I can't remember it, it isn't worth repeating. Well, I will be back later...sometime...cya...
