Gone but never Forgotten

I hate it. 2 minutes after my dad died everyone switched over from "is" to "was". I hate that. I know that it's grammatically correct, and everyone is being nice and talking about good things, but that just concretes it. I know I shouldn't be bitching about something so trivial, but at least it's out of my system.

My dad died today. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Don't really feel like posting many details.
